Hosted by Dr. Angela McCoy Harless

Angela McCoy Harless is an Assistant Professor of Counselor Education at Texas A & M University – Texarkana, and a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor in the state of Arkansas.  She earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of Arkansas, her M.S. in Counseling Psychology/School Counseling from Texas A & M University – Texarkana, and her B.M.E. from Southern Arkansas University as a vocal major and piano minor.  She has been awarded the Arkansas Counseling Association Emerging Leadership Award and the Arkansas Association for Counselor Education and Supervision Presidency.  She actively participates in research and writing for scholarly publications that pertain to mental health and wellness of children and adolescents, school counseling with students in poverty, career development issues of Low-SES students, and creative arts therapy.  She is a singer, songwriter, musician, gardener, foodie, and nature lover.
